At NFFC, reading thank you notes is the BEST part of our day.
"I just wanted to send a little thank you email. I took J and B to their first gymnastics classes last night and they were so excited. B was a little nervous, but afterwards she said she was going to practice in their basement all week. She wants to stay in gymnastics until she's the highest level because the coaches said she was very good. J's eyes lit up like Christmas morning every time the coach said he did something well, and he told me 'this was the greatest day of my life'. I cannot describe to you in words how much I think this is doing for their treatment. I have never seen B show this much emotion about something, and I have never heard J be so positive about himself. He could not stop grinning. I just wanted to let you know how wonderful I think your organization is. I am sure you are touching more lives than you can imagine."
"Thank you for the money for K's senior pictures. They are scheduled for Oct. 20 and she is so excited! It's something that she wouldn't have gotten otherwise and it means a lot to her. It's the little things we can do for foster children that resembles what other kids are doing that means so much to them."
"Thank you so much for your monetary gift to J, who lost all his clothing in a fire. This money is going to allow him to get the clothing he so desperately needs. With the cold weather arriving your money couldn't have arrived at a better time. J is excited he will have the clothing he needs to keep him warm this winter. I can't thank you enough for your huge, generous hearts. You are amazing people and make such a difference in so many children's lives. Not only have you touched J's heart, but you have touched the hearts of several other children. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for your wonderful gift."
